AMMONIUM PERSULFATE

Properties: Ammonium persulfate is exist in a white crystals form as a strong oxidizing agent.

Solubility: It is soluble in water.

Stability :on heating it loses its properties.

Preparation: by electrolysis process of ammonium sulfate concentrated solution

change into ammonium persulfate

Precautions: Although it is a strong oxidizing agent therefore it is highly flammable.

Ammonium persulfate uses

It widely use in electroplating industry,

It is using as oxidizing agent ,bleaching agent ,aniline dyes and  making photography solutions.

Frequently use in ageing copper , deodorizing and bleaching the oils.
