CHARACTERISTICS

Mineral oil is famous oil which is used in much industry and its color is white. This is the reason; it is also known as white oil. Its other names are

White oil, paraffin oil, petroleum white, petroleum liquid.

DENSITY

• 0.88 to 0.89 = extra heavy
• 0.87 to 0.88 = heavy
• 0.84 to 0.86 = medium
• 0.82 to 0.84 = light

VISCOSITY

• 295/305 = Extra heavy
• 180/190 = heavy
• 80/90 = medium
• 65/75 = light

PRECAUTION

• Harmless in edible form
• Flammable

Pharmaceutical, technical, heavy, extra heavy, medium and light grades other than cosmetics

USES

• Pharmaceutical, food processing, agricultural spray, alkali dispersion, chemical synthesis, petroleum jelly, leather industry, meat packing, medicine making (laxative), textile processing, plastic making, cattle feed, air filters, air filters, industrial dust control, eggs processing, electrical industry, military operations, corn warm control.
